(SENIOR) MIXED-SIGNAL VERIFICATION ENGINEER (M/F/D)

Your mission
We are seeking you as a "(Senior) Mixed Signal Verification Engineer (m/f/d)" to join our team in Germany / Mannheim or Austria / Villach (hybrid and/or full remote work model). The role is part of the circuit design team at EXTOLL. The team is tasked with delivering high quality and best performing solutions for high-speed data interfaces. A commitment to on-time delivery and strong focus on design quality and customer orientation is the foundation of all we do.

  • Develop and maintain SystemVerilog real number behavioral models of analog/full-custom circuits.
  • Work with system architects and HDL designers to build up a SystemVerilog based model of a complete complex mixed signal IP.
  • Closely work with the Functional Verification team to resolve issues and improve verification and model quality.
  • Develop and refine directed test cases to enable test and debugging of model and IP.
  • Contribute to the design and implementation of the mixed signal verification methodology and model validation setup to continuously improve quality. 
  • Work closely and cross-functional across different groups to support a successful and on-time product release.
Your profile
  • B.S./M.S. degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or related subject with emphasis on hardware design.
  • A min. of 3 years work experience, including internships.
  • Basic experience in designing integrated circuits would be a plus.
  • Verilog and SystemVerilog coding skills.
  • Experience in SystemVerilog Real Number Modelling.
  • Experience in working with Cadence XCELLIUM would be a plus. 
  • Experience in working with SystemVerilog UDNs would be a plus.
  • Hands-on-mentality and problem-solving capability.
  • Good written and oral communication skills in English are required, German language would be a plus.

Deine Mission
Wir suchen Dich als "(Senior) Mixed Signal Verification Engineer (m/f/d)" um unser Team zu verstärken in Deutschland / Mannheim oder Österreich / Villach (Hybrid und/oder Full Remote Work Model). Diese Rolle ist Teil des Circuit Design Teams bei EXTOLL. Das Team hat die Aufgabe, qualitativ hochwertige und leistungsfähigste Lösungen für High-Speed Data Interfaces zu liefern. Unser Commitment zu On-Time-Delivery sowie ein starker Fokus auf Designqualität und Kundenorientierung bilden die Grundlage für alles, was wir tun. 

  • Entwicklung und Pflege der SystemVerilog Real-Number-Behavioral-Modelle der Analog / Full-Custom Schaltungen.
  • Zusammenarbeit mit Systemarchitekten und HDL-Designern beim Aufbau eines SystemVerilog-basierten Modells einer komplexen Mixed-Signal-IP.
  • Enge Zusammenarbeit mit dem Functional Verification Team zur Lösung von Problemen und zur Verbesserung der Verifikations- und Modellqualität.
  • Entwicklung und Verfeinerung von Testcases zwecks Test und Debugging des Modells und der IP.
  • Beitrag zum Design und zur Implementierung der Mixed-Signal-Verifikationsmethodik und des Modellvalidierungs-Setups zur kontinuierlichen Qualitätsverbesserung.
  • Enge und funktionsübergreifende Zusammenarbeit mit verschiedenen Teams zur Unterstützung einer erfolgreichen und termingerechten Produktfreigabe.
Dein Profil
  • B.S./M.S. Abschluss in Elektrotechnik, Physik, Informatik, Informationstechnik oder einem verwandten Fachgebiet mit Schwerpunkt Hardware-Design.
  • Mindestens 3 Jahre Berufserfahrung, einschließlich Praktika.
  • Grundlegende Erfahrung in der Entwicklung integrierter Schaltungen wäre von Vorteil.
  • Verilog- und SystemVerilog Programmiererfahrung
  • Erfahrung in SystemVerilog Real Number Modelling.
  • Erfahrung in der Arbeit mit Cadence XCELLIUM wäre von Vorteil.
  • Erfahrung in der Arbeit mit SystemVerilog UDNs wäre von Vorteil.
  • Hands-on-Mentalität und Problemlösungsfähigkeit.
  • Gute schriftliche und mündliche Kommunikationsfähigkeiten in Englisch sind erforderlich, Deutschkenntnisse wären von Vorteil.
