(SENIOR) PHYSICAL DESIGN ENGINEER (M/F/D)

Your mission
We are looking for a highly dedicated Physical Design Engineer to join us in unleashing the Chiplet Age. You have basic or advanced skills and a desire to expand your knowledge and work with us hands-on.
  • Support the full RTL2GDS2 implementation flow and physical design verification for EXTOLL’s state-of-the-art interface IP (Serdes / UCIe) and test chips
  • Search for optimal solutions while porting our IP to new technology nodes / metal stacks and address occurring challenges
  • Improve internal methodology by running trials with latest tools and tool enhancements and implement them in EXTOLL’s development flow
  • Work with the analog design team for seamless integration in the digital design flow
Your profile
  • Experience in physical implementation and basic knowledge of working with EDA tools from major vendors
  • + 2 years of relevant professional experience
  • Fundamentals of RTL-Design in Verilog or System Verilog
  • Knowledge in modern CMOS technologies
  • Scripting experience in TCL

Deine Mission
Wir suchen Dich, als engagierten Physical Design Engineer (m/w/d), der gemeinsam mit uns die Chiplet-Zukunft gestaltet. Du verfügst über grundlegende bzw. fortgeschrittene Kenntnisse sowie den Wunsch, Dein Wissen zu vertiefen und „hands-on“ mit uns zusammenzuarbeiten.

  • Unterstützung des gesamten RTL2GDS2 Implementation Flows und der Physical Design Verification für EXTOLLs hochmoderne Interface IP (Serdes / UCIe) und Test Chips.
  • Erarbeitung optimaler Lösungen bei der Portierung unserer IP auf neue Technology Nodes / Metal Stacks und Bewältigung dabei auftretender Herausforderungen.
  • Verbesserung der internen Methodik durch Testläufe mit den neuesten Tools und Funktionen sowie deren Integration in den Implementierungsflow von EXTOLL.
  • Zusammenarbeit mit dem Analog Design Team zur nahtlosen Integration in den Digital Design Flow.
Dein Profil
  • Erfahrung in der Physical Implementation und Grundkenntnisse im Umgang mit EDA Tools bekannter Hersteller.
  • + 2 Jahre einschlägige Berufserfahrung.
  • Grundlagen im RTL-Design in Verilog oder System Verilog.
  • Kenntnisse in modernen CMOS Technologien.
  • Scripting-Erfahrung in TCL.

Die Anstellungsbedingungen entsprechen dem Kollektivvertrag für Angestellte der Informationstechnologie, spezifisch für die Beschäftigungsgruppe ST2 (Kollektivvertrag). Du erhältst 14 Monatsgehälter pro Jahr. Abhängig von Deiner Expertise und Deinen Fähigkeiten ist auch eine höhere Vergütung möglich.
